Do Fathers Effects the Social Skills of Preschool Children: An Experimental Study

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect a Father Training Program (FTP) on social skills pre-school children. carried out in two preschools central province Kilis Turkey. A pretest-posttest control group experimental design implemented study. Both and consisted 40 preschool children their fathers from different preschools. FTP with for twelve weeks, but not applied group. In study, Social Skills Assessment Scale (SSAS) used. Data were collected by teachers before after FTP. Covariant analysis one factor (ANCOVA) t test used analyze data. At end FTP, it observed that there statistically significant differences between terms level (p<.01). It difference mean scores post-test retention tests insignificant continuing. This shows training program including has an children's skills.
